Woman Dies on Freeway After Being Hit by Cars

A 23-year-old woman was killed Monday after she got out of her overturned car on the San Diego Freeway and was struck by motorists, officials said.
Margarita Govea of Westminster was driving south near Harbor Boulevard about 4:45 a.m., said CHP Officer Stacy Willits, when she lost control of her Honda Accord and struck the center divider. She was hit by at least two vehicles. Govea was pronounced dead at the scene, Willits said.
