Cyclist Killed by Hit-Run Driver in Stanton; Witnesses Sought

A bicyclist was struck and killed in Stanton early Monday by a motorist who fled the scene, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities said they have no description of the car and that no witnesses have come forward.
Cedeno Bolivar, 38, whose address is unknown, was riding north on Beach Boulevard near Pacific Street when he was struck about 1:30 a.m., according to a sheriff’s spokesperson.
A passing motorist called authorities after spotting the body in the road.
Bolivar, who worked at a nearby bakery, was pronounced dead at the scene.
