Casting event also a benefit

“The Extra Mile,” a seminar about Hollywood casting, will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at Theatre West, 3333 Cahuenga Blvd. West, L.A., as a fundraiser for Cecily Adams, a veteran film and television casting director and longtime Theatre West member who is battling cancer.
The two-hour event will feature a discussion by casting director Glenn Morshower, followed by a question-and-answer session with casting directors Robert Ulrich, Eric Dawson and Carol Kritzer, agent Gerry Koch of the Gage Group and cast members Dennis Haysbert, Carlos Bernard, D.B. Woodside of the Fox TV series “24.”
