Pedestrian Killed by Blue Line Train

A man died Thursday after being struck by a northbound Blue Line train in Willowbrook.
The train hit the man, who was on foot, at 5:10 p.m. as it crossed 119th Street, said Rick Jager, a Metropolitan Transit Authority spokesman. The incident caused delays of as much as 25 minutes for commuters. The victim was not immediately identified.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies were investigating the incident.
