Regarding “Disgusted by Writers’ Disrespect” [Letters, April 25]: I love Susan Spano’s vulnerability and humaneness.
The most brilliant travel writing is not about the sights and sounds, but about the human experience.
The Travel section is not the opinion page or the international news section. I read the Times Travel section every week just for Spano’s adventures.
