Medellin Grenade Attack Kills 4, Injures 15

A grenade exploded in a small plaza in Medellin, killing at least four people and wounding 15, Colombian police said.
The attack occurred in the San Ignacio plaza near the University of Antioquia in Medellin, 155 miles northwest of the capital, Bogota. It was not immediately clear who was responsible.
Colombia is involved in a four-decade-old conflict that pits the government against leftist guerrillas and right-wing paramilitary troops. Rebels often are blamed for terrorist attacks in the country’s major cities.
