Cali Cartel Figure’s Extradition to U.S. OKd

Colombia’s Supreme Court has authorized the extradition to the United States of Gilberto Rodriguez Orejuela, one of two brothers who helped found the Cali drug cartel, a court spokesman said.
The move came after U.S. officials last year indicted Rodriguez Orejuela and his brother, Miguel, on charges they continued to run the billion-dollar drug operation from their Colombian prison cells.
