Former Vice President Al Gore and a former chief executive at Goldman Sachs Asset Management have launched a London-based investment firm to seek out companies that take a responsible stance on global issues such as climate change.
The firm will seek investors “who want to integrate sustainable returns with traditional equity analysis,” said Gore, who will chair Generation Investment Management. David Blood, previously chief executive at Goldman’s fund arm, will be managing partner.
