Driver Hit by Turkey; 5 Teens Plead Not Guilty

Five teenagers in Lake Ronkonkoma accused of tossing a frozen turkey through the windshield of an oncoming car, critically injuring the female driver, pleaded not guilty in the case. A sixth teen was arrested.
The driver, 44, was in critical condition, Suffolk County Police Chief Dennis Kane said.
Kane said the group used a stolen credit card to buy the 20-pound turkey, then one teen threw it out the rear window of their moving car last weekend.
