No New Jury for Peterson Penalty Phase

The jury that convicted Scott Peterson of killing his pregnant wife and unborn child will also determine whether he lives or dies for his crimes, a judge ruled Monday.
Also, the judge delayed the start of the penalty phase of the trial until Nov. 30, citing discovery issues between attorneys in exchanging evidence.
The panel will decide whether to sentence Peterson to life in prison or the death penalty.
