DWP Seeks 5% Raise for Some Employees

The Department of Water and Power is proposing a 5% raise for professional, technical and administrative workers.
The proposal follows a controversial 11% water rate increase, and other city agencies have decided not to give raises this year.
The one-year contract extension, which would cost $5.6 million, would also give DWP employees a second floating holiday.
