Update -- In what could be the final regular-season meeting in Carson between the California rivals -- the San Jose franchise is for sale and rumored to be moving to San Antonio or Houston -- the Galaxy will regain the services of four players who missed last week’s loss at Columbus because of national team duty: Cobi Jones, Tyrone Marshall, Alejandro Moreno and Carlos Ruiz. The Earthquakes regain Brian Ching and Landon Donovan. The Galaxy also signed forward Alan Gordon from the Portland Timbers of the A League. The Galaxy is 0-1-1 under Coach Steve Sampson and is only three points out of last place.
