Man spits on Jane Fonda

A man who said he was a Vietnam veteran waited in line for about 90 minutes and then spat tobacco juice in Jane Fonda’s face at a Kansas City book signing, police said Wednesday.
The man, 54-year-old Michael Smith, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He told the Kansas City Star that Fonda was a “traitor” who had been spitting in the faces of war veterans for years.
The 67-year-old actress and former antiwar activist was on a book-signing tour for her newly released autobiography, “My Life So Far.”
