Roadside Bomb Attack Kills a U.S. Soldier

An American soldier was killed by a roadside bomb near Tikrit, Iraq, the U.S. military announced.
The statement said the soldier was assigned to Task Force Liberty but gave no name.
No one else was injured in the attack, the military said.
