After 16 years at Glen Helen Park in San Bernardino County, the Renaissance Pleasure Faire is moving. The re-creation of an Elizabethan English country fair will be staged this year at the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area in Irwindale, on weekends from April 16 to May 22.
The new location is “closer to where much of our audience is based,” said Pete Leavell, chief executive of Renaissance Entertainment, which owns and operates the event.
The Faire, a colorful mixture of costumed entertainers, artisans and culinary offerings, began in 1963 in Agoura.
