Storm Closes Schools and Delays Flights

A storm blanketed the region, forcing governments and schools to close early and triggering a spate of traffic accidents.
Snow coated an area that included Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, as well as Delaware and Maryland, and was continuing to move north.
Several cities, including Newark, N.J., and New York, reported about 6 inches of snow, and some areas were expecting as much as 9 inches by this morning.
Planes were reported delayed by as much as two hours at Newark Liberty International Airport.
