GIRLS’ SOCCER
* Jasmine Henderson and Danielle Raiss, Los Angeles Hamilton: Henderson scored the game’s lone goal, and Raiss had eight saves for the Yankees, who edged San Pedro, 1-0, in the quarterfinals of the City Section championship division, keeping the Pirates out of the semifinals for the first time since 1997.
* Sade Tate and Dougie McCaulley, Phelan Serrano: Tate scored in sudden-death overtime, and McCaulley made 14 saves to lift the Diamondbacks to a 2-1 victory over La Canada Flintridge Prep in the Southern Section Division IV quarterfinals.
* Nicole Ruggieri, Thousand Oaks: Had six saves, including two on blocked penalty kicks, and the Lancers tied Temecula Valley, 2-2, and advanced on penalty kicks, 5-4, in the Southern Section Division II quarterfinals.
* Nikki Walberg, Woodland Hills El Camino Real: Had two goals and an assist for the Conquistadores, who defeated Woodland Hills Taft, 4-1, in the City championship quarterfinals.
