A Picture of Rumsfeld

Michael Ramirez’s Dec. 26 cartoon of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld gives us a then-and-now history lesson:

Then -- the cartoon accurately portrays the century that Rumsfeld lives in militarily, somewhere between the 18th and 19th centuries.

Now -- you know that if Rumsfeld were in a Humvee and not on a horse, it would be one of the few armored versions.

I can hardly wait for Ramirez’s view of what the future will hold for Rumsfeld.
