A speeding car crashed into a house Saturday night, killing a 30-year-old female passenger, sheriff’s officials said. The driver, a 35-year-old man, was in critical condition at a hospital.
Homicide investigators were at the scene of the crash in the 17000 block of Woodruff Avenue on Sunday, said Sheriff’s Deputy Josie Woolum.
“The woman who died may have been a kidnap victim and the driver a boyfriend or ex-boyfriend,” Woolum said, adding that she could not release the woman’s identity.
