Colombian Pleads Guilty to Importing Cocaine

The leader of a Colombian drug-trafficking organization pleaded guilty to importing millions of dollars worth of cocaine into the United States since 1988, federal prosecutors said.
Jose Maria Henao Mejia pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Manhattan to heading a ring that communicated with distribution cells in Spain and the U.S., including ones in Miami, Chicago and New York.
