Police Seek Information on Death of Motorist

Police on Sunday were investigating the death of a motorist with a gunshot wound to his head who crashed on a freeway.
The name of the 26-year-old man was not released. He died at Western Regional Medical Center-Santa Ana, where he was taken after the crash, which occurred about 1 p.m. Saturday on the transition road from the Costa Mesa Freeway to the Garden Grove Freeway.
The victim was driving a silver 2005 Subaru WRX. Anyone with information can call detectives at (714) 573-3248.
