From Times Wire Reports
A woman at a Wendy’s restaurant bit into a part of a human finger while eating chili Tuesday night, Santa Clara County health officials said.
She spit it out and warned other diners to stop eating, witnesses said.
Officials said the fingertip was about 1 3/8 inches long. They believe that it belongs to a woman because of the long, manicured nail.
Health investigators seized all of the ingredients at the restaurant and were tracing them back to their manufacturers. They believe that the finger got into the chili at an earlier stage.
