Lawyer Cavallo Pleads Not Guilty in Scheme

Lawyer Joseph Cavallo, accused of operating a scheme involving bail bonds and jail inmates, pleaded not guilty Friday in Orange County Superior Court.
Cavallo was named in a felony indictment last month alleging that he and two bail bonds employees conspired to steer inmates and others to his law firm.
The trial is set for Dec. 2.
