WD-40 Net Income Jumps 18% in Quarter

WD-40 Co. said fiscal fourth-quarter net income rose 18% on a 6% rise in sales.
The San Diego-based seller of specialty lubricants said its net income climbed to $10.5 million, or 63 cents a share, up from $8.9 million, or 53 cents, a year earlier.
Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 31 rose to $76.3 million from $71.7 million.
The company forecast net income for fiscal year 2006 of $1.47 to $1.64 a share.
WD-40’s shares fell 5 cents to $27.51.
