Apart from the fact that they mostly took in more money overseas than here, the 10 top-grossing films internationally year-to-date are not overwhelmingly different from the domestic group, but there are some major exceptions: “Howl’s Moving Castle,” “Kingdom of Heaven” and “Constantine” do not make the domestic cut. “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” the No. 4 film domestically with $198.3 million, has so far taken in just $130.7 million internationally, so it’s missing from this list, as are “Wedding Crashers” and “The Longest Yard.” -- R.
