2 Shot at Illegal Street Party Die of Wounds

Two men died of gunshot wounds suffered early Saturday at an illegal street party, Santa Ana police said.
Jairo Tamayo, 19, and Erick Romay, 26, were shot in the 2000 block of South Susan Street about 12:30 a.m., authorities said.
Police said the shooting was thought to be gang-related.
Both men were taken by friends to Garden Grove Hospital and Medical Center.
Romay was subsequently taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange. Tamayo died at the Garden Grove hospital, and Romay died at UCI, authorities said.
