One man was killed and another critically injured in a shooting outside Coit Tower early Saturday.
The shooting occurred around 3:20 a.m. when two groups of men got into an argument in the parking lot of the tourist destination, popular for its sweeping views of San Francisco. The suspects, a group of three or four men, were drinking at the time, said San Francisco police Sgt. Neville Gittens.
Juan Bauza, 27, of Oakland was killed, and a 20-year-old man, whose name was not released, was being treated at San Francisco General Hospital for life-threatening injuries.
After the shooting, Bauza apparently tried to drive away but crashed into a wall, Gittens said. His companion ran for help and a neighbor called 911.
