Mexico’s cascading hillside hues

JANET Tubbs was on a short road trip in the area around San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, in late February when she photographed the colorful hillside homes of Guanajuato, a colonial town of winding, narrow streets. By having her slide film processed as color film, the hues became even richer. “I’ve been taking photo classes at Glendale Community College since 2002, but this is first time I tried it,” said Tubbs, a facilities manager for Glendale.
