Update -- Goaltender Mathieu Garon and forward Alyn McCauley were activated before Wednesday’s game against Edmonton. Garon has been out since Nov. 29 because of a groin injury and McCauley has spent the season rehabilitating two knee surgeries. Jeff Cowan was placed on waivers to make room on the roster. Barry Brust probably will start in goal tonight, as the Kings are being cautious with Garon.
