Girl, 16, Wounded in Drive-By Shooting

A 16-year-old girl was in good condition Saturday at Western Medical Center-Santa Ana after being shot in a drive-by attack, said Santa Ana Police Cmdr. Joe Kahapea.
The shooting occurred about 9:10 a.m. as the girl stood at Birch and Camile streets with a group of acquaintances, police said.
Police said the bullet went into her chest and passed out the other side.
