Dwarf Dinosaur Species Unearthed in Germany

Fossils of 150-million-year-old dwarf dinosaurs have been found in northern Germany, scientists reported this week in the journal Nature. Initially they suspected that the remains from more than 11 sauropods were from young dinosaurs. But an analysis of the bones of the new species, called Europasaurus, showed they were small adults that probably lived on an island during the late Jurassic period.
