Cyclist Runs Red Light, Is Hit by Car and Killed

A bicyclist died early Saturday when he rode through a red light into an intersection and was hit by a car, police said.
The accident, at 1st Street and Grand Avenue, was reported just before 5 a.m. Police did not release the victim’s name.
