Chandler remembered

After reading former Times Publisher Otis Chandler’s obituary (Feb. 28), I have a suggestion. Your photograph of Chandler titled “Commanding Presence” should have been titled “Otis Chandler -- Mr. Incredible.”

Along with the scribes, I applauded the letter Chandler dictated to the folks in The Times newsroom regarding the shady deal the then-publisher made with Staples Center. After all, I too am a member of the Los Angeles Times family. I am a subscriber.
