Bausch & Lomb Drops ReNu With MoistureLoc

Bausch & Lomb Inc. permanently recalled its ReNu With MoistureLoc contact lens solution in all markets.
Expanding an earlier recall, Bausch & Lomb said some aspect of the MoistureLoc formula might be increasing the risk of a potentially blinding eye infection in unusual circumstances.
The global recall marks a shift in the search for the cause of an outbreak of Fusarium keratitis that has infected 122 people in the U.S. alone.
The Food and Drug Administration said it supported Bausch & Lomb’s recall.
