Grant to Help Pay for Anti-Terrorism Efforts

Police Chief William J. Bratton said Tuesday that a second $1-million grant from the Annenberg Foundation to the Police Foundation would help pay to set up a national anti-terrorism academy in Los Angeles.
In addition to paying for youth programs, the grant will help bring in experts to develop a curriculum and provide instructors to law enforcement officers from across the country on how to fight terrorism.
