Man Fatally Shot While Driving on Miracle Mile

A 22-year-old man was shot and killed in the Miracle Mile area as he drove with a female companion, who also was wounded, police said Sunday.
John Kim was westbound on Wilshire Boulevard near Masselin Avenue about 1:45 a.m. Saturday when someone fired shots into the car. A bullet grazed the passenger’s head.
She took Kim to Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital. He later was transferred to County-USC Medical Center, where he died.
