“High School Musical” has been a hit, Emmy-winning movie on cable television’s Disney Channel, and its soundtrack
album was the biggest-selling CD of 2006, at 3.8 million and still counting. So what’s next? Think “High School Musical:
The Concert.” Cast members including Corbin Bleu, Vanessa Hudgens and
Ashley Tisdale (sorry, girls, Zac Efron is filming “Hairspray” and can’t make the tour) will perform songs from the film
and their own repertoires in the concerts, which are nearing the end of their 40-city run.
“High School Musical: The Concert,” Honda Center, 2965 E. Katella Ave., Anaheim. 7 p.m. Friday. $35.50 to $58.50 (sold out). (714) 704-2500.
* Also 7 p.m. Monday at Staples Center, 1111 S. Figueroa St., L.A. $35.50 to $58.50. (213) 742-7340.
