Tanaka’s pylon achievement
PAUL TZANETOPOULOS handled the lighting for the towering pylons at LAX [“Attention, Houseguests,” July 12].
But it was renowned architect Ted Tokio Tanaka who actually dreamed up and designed the towering pylons themselves.
Mentioning the lighting designer and not the architect when referencing this project in the Home section is like celebrating the gaffer and not the director in Calendar.
