For some, the crowning proof of Ozzy Osbourne’s disconnect from reality was his camp’s decision to make all the tickets for this year’s Ozzfest free. His financial wisdom remains to be seen, but for now he’s distributed nearly half a million tickets for the North American tour, ensuring goodwill and full houses at venues such as Hyundai Pavilion, where the Sultan of Screech will preside over a daylong bill that also includes Lamb of God, Static-X, Lordi, Hatebreed, Mondo Generator, Circus Diablo and other hard-rock heirs of Osbourne’s headbanger legacy.
