Underground gets a bad rap

I want to thank Charlie Amter for writing such a dead-on article about Tech N9ne [“Making His Own Flow,” July 12]. Since becoming a Juggalo -- a follower of Insane Clown Posse -- I’ve been turned on to great underground acts such as Tech, or his pals Kutt Calhoun & Big Krizz Kaliko, also from Missouri.

It was fresh to read your article as you obviously know quite a bit about underground rap and Tech himself. No negativity was nice, considering ICP and Juggalos have been getting a bad rap in the media. Although you did not mention how much the Juggalos and Juggalettes look up to Tech. We are probably about half of his fan base.
