2 men who were shot to death are identified

Two African American men gunned down early Friday in the Baldwin Hills area were identified Sunday as Aric Lexing, 26, and Scott Grant, 40.
They were sitting in Lexing’s parked car at 3:30 a.m. when the suspects approached the vehicle in the 4000 block of Stevely Drive and fired multiple gunshots, said Lt. Mark Ziemba of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The motive for the slayings was unknown. LAPD detectives asked anyone with information about the shootings to contact them at (213) 485-2417.
