SAN FRANCISCO — A Yale University student whose jaw was broken during a confrontation outside a New Year’s Eve party filed a lawsuit Tuesday against his five alleged attackers.
Sharyar Aziz Jr., 18, one of several members of a touring all-male a cappella group who were injured that night, filed the suit.
The lawsuit names Richard Aicardi and Brian Dwyer, both 19; Aicardi’s twin brother, James, and 20-year-old brother, Michael; and Marino Peradotto, 20.
Richard Aicardi and Dwyer also face charges in the beating of other members of the Baker’s Dozen singing group. No one has been charged in the attack on Aziz.
