Written like music

THANK you to Ann Powers for writing about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony with feeling and depth and emotion, which is what punk, hip-hop and rock ‘n’ roll are supposed to be about [“Everybody Hurts,” March 14]. It’s nice to know someone out there cares enough about music to not just report the facts of the ceremony, but also to catch some fading glimmer about what it’s all about in the first place.
