* Atlanta 4, at Pittsburgh 1: Andruw Jones and Jeff Francoeur homered on consecutive pitches in the sixth inning to help the Braves end their longest streak without a home run in 24 years. They went 72 innings without a homer.
* at Washington 6, Florida 0: Shawn Hill threw five no-hit innings before leaving because of a sore right elbow, helping the Nationals end an eight-game losing streak. Hill walked two and retired the other 15 batters he faced. Reliever Winston Abreu kept the Marlins hitless through that inning.
* at Philadelphia 7, Chicago 2: The Phillies roughed up Rich Hill, who gave up five runs and four hits -- two homers -- in five innings in his shortest outing this season. The left-hander’s earned-run average rose from 1.73 to 2.51.
* at New York 5, Milwaukee 4: The Mets won for the seventh time in nine games and cooled off the hottest team in the majors. The Brewers, who had won 10 of 11, had a seven-game lead in the Central Division, the franchise’s largest since divisional play began in 1969.
* Arizona 3, at Houston 1: Chris Young made it the perfect homecoming. The Houston native hit two solo home runs and Brandon Webb shut down the Astros.
* San Francisco 8, at Colorado 3: Josh Fogg, who took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, left in the eighth with a 3-2 lead. Ray Durham’s sacrifice fly to deep right in the eighth with the bases loaded scored the go-ahead run.
* at San Diego 7, St. Louis 0: Russell Branyan, starting in place of struggling rookie third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff, hit a pair of two-run homers. The first was an opposite-field shot to left with one out in the second.
* at Dodgers 2, Cincinnati 0: Randy Wolf struck out a season-high 11 in seven innings.
