Pitney Bowes to cut 1,500 jobs

Mail services provider Pitney Bowes Inc. unveiled a restructuring plan that called for the elimination of about 1,500 jobs and said it would buy back more shares and boost its dividend.
The biggest U.S. supplier of postage meters and mailing machines, which last month reported a 14% decline in third-quarter profit, said it would explore options for its U.S. management services business and revised its outlook for the year.
