Holiday closures

Today is Labor Day. The following schedules will be in effect:
Government: All city, county, state and federal offices and courts are closed.
Mail: No delivery; post offices are closed.
Banks: Most are closed.
Libraries: Most are closed.
Schools: Public campuses are closed.
Public transit: MTA buses will operate on a modified holiday schedule. Metrolink trains will not operate.
Trash collection: The city of Los Angeles will delay collection by one day.
