An ‘Adventure’ in landscaping

Great article on the Disney gardens [“Happiest Landscapes on Earth,” Sept. 6], but you missed one of the better ones, in my opinion.
If you had entered California Adventure and wandered over to the Hollywood Tower Hotel, a.k.a. the “Tower of Terror,” you would have seen a rather interesting, drought- tolerant garden. The hotel grounds are supposed to be run down, as the building is supposedly abandoned, derelict and even haunted. But the Tower landscaping is downright lush. Check it out on your next visit -- you won’t be disappointed.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Tony Kienitz’s article. We’re going to Disneyland in a couple of months, and now I’m really looking forward to looking more closely at the gardens. Thanks, and I’d love to see more articles by Kienitz in the future.
