Does BA stand for ‘bags absent’?

I read it with great interest Catharine Hamm’s column [“Just Bill BA,” On the Spot, Sept. 9] as my family and I are members of the unofficial “British Airways lost luggage losers” group. Of the 26,000 bags they lost during a two-week period in June, four of them belonged to us. (Those stats were given to me by a BA customer service rep.)
One bag was returned with everything in it ruined, wet and moldy. As for British Airways making good on their liability, I am still waiting.
