He makes an impression

Max Rodriguez brings the outside world indoors with his “Natural Impressions” series. Created on canvas and covered in plaster, the artworks are painted, stained and distressed to resemble botanical artifacts. Fossil-like branches, pods and leaves appear to have fallen naturally, leaving an indelible impression. Rodriguez says the pieces are durable enough to withstand the elements if placed on a patio.
