I am frustrated every week when I read the capsule reviews in the Sunday L.A. Times [“The Guide,” April 19].
First, the Critics’ Choice picks are totally outdated; four of the seven films listed are not even in theaters anymore. Why not add some new picks? “Slumdog Millionaire”? Come on, it’s been on DVD for weeks! What about “Valentino”? It’s not even listed.
Also, the photo on Page D12 is of “Confessions of a Shopaholic,” which came out in February and is not even playing anymore. You want to compete with the Internet? Then start paying attention!
